Kid-Approved Green Smoothies

Kid-Approved Green Smoothies

After-school yum alert! Check out these 3 delicious green smoothie combinations. These recipes have been thoroughly trialed and given the tick of approval for kids of all ages by our friends at All Good Bananas.

Green smoothies are an excellent way to get some greens into your day. We love them for breakfast or as an icy after school snack. Using frozen bananas as the base means the smoothie will be lightly sweet and perfectly creamy every time. We’ve put together 3 combinations that have been thoroughly trialed and given the tick of approval for kids of all ages.

Keep plenty of frozen bananas on hand and you’ll always be able to whip a smoothie up in minutes. Always remember to peel before freezing!

Baby spinach is the mildest of the greens so is a great way to get kids used to having greens in their smoothies. Once they’re accustomed to the flavour you can try adding a little kale, raw zucchini or other greens.
