4 slices sourdough bread
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon hot mustard powder
1 pinch cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 egg, beaten

  1. Place the slices of bread under the grill until lightly browned on one side.
  2. In a small mixing bowl add the cheese, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg and season to taste.
  3. Turn the slices of bread over and top with the cheese mixture, so it's evenly distributed over each slice including the edges.
  4. Place back under the hot grill for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
