Asian Pak Choy Stir Fry

Today, we’re going to share a simple, healthy, and delicious recipe featuring our Veg of the Week - the Certified Organic Pak Choy from Leeston. This Asian-inspired stir fry is quick to prepare, packed with flavor, and perfect for a weeknight dinner. So, let’s get started!


  • 2 bunches of organic Pak Choy
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup of fried shallots


Prep the Pak Choy: Rinse the pak choy under cold water to remove any dirt. Cut off the ends and separate the leaves.

Stir Fry: Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté until fragrant. Add the pak choy and stir fry for about 2-3 minutes, until the leaves are wilted and the stems are tender-crisp.

Add the Sauces: Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and toss well to coat the pak choy evenly. Cook for another minute, allowing the pak choy to absorb the flavors.

Serve: Transfer the stir-fried pak choy to a serving dish and sprinkle the fried shallots on top. Serve immediately.
