Spring is here! That time of year there’s an abundance of fresh produce available and also when we start to crave lighter, cooler meals in the lead up to summer.
This Detox Bowl is rich in Chlorophyll and Antioxidants perfect for flushing out toxins and bringing the body back to balance.
2 handfuls of destemmed and chopped Cavolo Nero (Kale)
1 cup of grated Cauliflower
1/2 cup grated Red Cabbage
1 handful of Sunflower Shoots
1 handful of Alfalfa Sprouts
1 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
1 spiralised Carrot
1 spriralised Beetroot
1 Tbs Sunflower Seeds
1Tbs Pumpkin Seeds
1 tsp Black Sesame Seeds
1/2 cup Hello Raw Curried Almonds
4 Kitz Living Foods fresh Herb, Dulse & Spirulina Crackers
2 Tbs Bu Deli Coconut Feta
2 Tbs Be Nourished Amalia Curry Sauerkraut
2 Tbs Greek Style Raglan Coconut Yoghurt
1 tsp finely grated Ginger
1 Tbs fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
1 handful Coriander
1 handful Parsley
1/4 cup Water
1. Add Chopped Kale, Olive Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar to a large bowl and massage until the leaves soften.
2. Add other salad ingredients and mix.Transfer to your serving bowls.
3. Assemble toppings.
4. Blend your dressing ingredients until well combined and transfer into a small jar or bowl for pouring on your salad.
