A yummy treat for the little kids and the big kids too, these bliss balls have a little sauerkraut hiding in them! The recipe, created by Jo from Be Nourished, is an easy way of getting a few extra friendly probiotics into your little ones (and you can't taste the kraut!).
1 cup almonds (activated if possible)
1 cup cashews (activated if possible)
1/2 cup coconut
10 or more dates (medjool the nicest)
1/4 cup of cacao powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
1/2 cup Be Nourished Just Kraut
In a food processor fitted with the S blade, blend the nuts into a fine meal.
Add the dates, coconut and cacao powder; pulse until combined.
Add vanilla extract and sauerkraut, then pulse just a little more.
Roll into balls and refrigerate.
